Week of April 10 [exam week]:
Final Exam: The final exam is scheduled for Monday, April 10, at 8:30 A.M.
Late Work: no late work will be accepted after 5 P.M. Monday
Week of April 3 [last week of classes]:
Quizzes: The quiz for chapter 9 is a take-home and is due Monday 4/3/00 at 5:00 P.M.
Reading: We will cover selected topics from chapter 10 this week..
Homework: Homework sets from chapter 10 will be distributed in class.
Week of March 27:
Quizzes: Quiz for chapter 9 will be Monday 4/3/00.
Reading: We will cover chapter 9 this week.
Homework: The problem sets for chapter 9 have been distributed in class they are due 3 consecutive class periods beginning Monday 3/27/00.
Week of March 20:
Quizzes: Quiz for chapter 8 will be Friday 3/24/00.
Reading: We will finish chapter 8 this week and start chapter 9.
Homework: The problem sets for chapter 9 will be posted and distributed by mid-week.
Week of March 13:
Quizzes: Quiz for chapter 7 will be Friday 3/17/00.
Reading: We will finish chapter 7 this week and start chapter 8.
Homework: The problem sets for chapter 8 will be posted soon and handed out in class 03/015/00.
Week of March 6:
Special Note: Dr. Breutzmann will be out of town Wednesday and Friday this week. Dr. Birgen will cover class and things will proceed 'normally'.
Quizzes: Quiz for chapter 6 will be Friday 3/10/00.
Reading: We will finish chapter 6 this week and start chapter 7.
Homework: The problem sets for chapter 6 have been posted. The problem sets for chapter 7 are also posted and will be handed out in class on Monday 3/6/00.
Week of Feb 28: Break week, no classes or assignments.
Week of Feb 21:
Quizzes: Quiz for chapter 5 will be Wednesday 2/23/00. (This is a one day delay from previous plan.)
Reading: We will finish chapter 5 this week and start chapter 6.
Homework: The problem sets for chapter 6 should be posted over the weekend and handed out this week Monday in class.
Week of Feb 14:
Quizzes: no quizzes this week. The next quiz is Monday 2/21/00.
Reading: We will cover Sections 5 .1-5.5 this week. Note that we are skipping Chapter 4.
Homework: The problem set for chapter 5 is posted. The problem sets for chapter 6 should be handed out this week
Week of Feb 7:
Quizzes: Quiz Three will be Friday, February 11.
Reading: We will finish Chapter 3 and begin Chapter 5 this week. Note that we are skipping Chapter 4.
Homework: Problem sets 3.2 and 3.3 will be due Monday 2/7. Problem set 3.4 will be due Wed 2/9. Chapter 5 assignments (hopefully) will be handed out Wednesday.
Week of Jan 31:
Quizzes: No Quizzes this week. Quiz Three will be early next week.
Reading: Section 3.2 for Wednesday and 3.3 for Friday
Homework: Due to instructor illness, the dues dates on the chapter three slips are to be extended one class period..
Week of Jan 24:
Quizzes: Quiz Two will be 40 points on Friday, January 28.
Reading: Sections 2.4 for Mon, 3.1 for Wed and Fri.
Homework: The homework list is complete through 1/26/00, there will be no homework due Friday Jan 28.
Week of Jan 17:
Quizzes: Quiz One will be 40 points Mon Jan 17. Quiz Two will be 40 points Fri Jan 28
Reading: Sections 2.1 for Mon, 2.2 for Wed and 2.3 for Fri.
