Week 0: Jan 7-11

Tue Jan 8: Class - We will discuss the course expectations.  

This week: a) The instructor will work with students who do not yet have a project to propose. b) Students should find a Systems Analysis/Software Engineering text they are comfortable with and identify the "systems development life cycle" as defined in the text. c) Students should be working on their life cycle review and d) on their initial project proposals.

Week 1: Jan 14-18

Mon Jan 14 8:00 A.M. - Week 1 update due. Attach to the appropriate message in the assignments section of manhattan.

Initial individual/team meetings with instructor to discuss project progress, proposals and target grades.

Tues Jan 15: No Class   

Fri Jan 18: Systems Development Life Cycle reviews are due at 5:00 P.M.

Week 2: Jan 21-25

Mon Jan 21 8:00 A.M. - Week 2 update due.

Tues Jan 22: Class - Initial Proposal Presentations(Oral). Written Project Proposals also due.

Usual weekly meetings with instructor to discuss project progress.

Week 3: Jan 28-Feb 1

Tuesday Feb 26 - In class presentations of midterm progress reports. Written reports also due.

MAR 4-8 - BREAK WEEK - (a good chance to get caught up since 0 hours are expected but many are possible!!!)

Week 8: Mar 11-15

Mon Mar 11 8:00 A.M. - Week 8 update due. (update includes last two weeks!)

Mon Apr 1 - No classes, Easter Break update due Tuesday instead. 

Tue Apr 2 8:00 A.M. - Week 11 update due. Class - Early half of Final Presentations (presentation schedule )

No weekly meetings with instructor unless desired.

Week 12: Apr 8-12

Tue Apr 9 - 7:00 P.M. - 8:45 P.M. Poster Session Buhr Lounge.
