MCSP Facilities

The Wartburg College Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics holds their classes primarily on the second floor of Becker Hall of Science, located on the Southwest corner of campus.  This building is soon to be involved in a projected 18 million dollar renovation project to be started this may. 

The MCSP department has use of two student-access computer labs on floor two of Becker Hall.  The Symbolic Computational Laboratory has 18 computers for student usage loaded with Windows 2000 Professional and various mathematics, physics, word processing, and internet applications.  The Unix Computational Laboratory houses 7 computers and 4 terminal machines running Red Hat Linux 7.3.  This lab is primarily used for Computer Science and Computer Information Systems majors looking to code and compile programs in a general purpose programming environment.
